We’re Back With A Bang At This Year’s Chelsea Flower Show!
Supporting Hartley Botanic on Stand, No 31
After a 20 year hiatus, we are very excited to be back at the Chelsea Flower Show this year, for us the greatest and most prestigious garden show of them all. We have been very busy sourcing, selecting and growing hundreds of beautifully curated plants, now to make their way down from our home in the Cotswolds to town ready for the 23rd of May.
We were delighted to be handpicked as the official partner of the iconic British greenhouse and orangery manufacturer Hartley Botanic for this year's show, to deliver a sensory experience designed in conjunction with Longview Designs and installed by The Outdoor Room. Burford Garden Company is delighted to be accompanying Hartley Botanic at this year's RHS Chelsea Flower Show on the Hartley Botanic Stand, No 31. The stand has been designed by Longview Design and is being built by The Outdoor Room.
Using our specialist in-house horticultural knowledge, we have sourced and supplied the plants for a multi-sensory experience as people journey through these amazing spaces.
Each glasshouse fulfils a unique purpose, illustrating the range of what is possible under glass.
Of the five spectacular glasshouses, one will be dedicated to exhibiting a wide range of orchids, one of Burford's particular specialisms. In it you will find the beautiful slipper orchid Paphiopedilum, the South American Zygopetalum and Masdevallia species.
The largest of the glasshouses will be a plant finder's dream, showcasing architectural and impressive tropical and subtropical species including palms, bananas, the wonderfully scented Stephanotis and the exotic-looking Gloriosa vine.
The three other buildings will be packed with herbs and vegetables, including brightly coloured peppers, chillies and aubergines. The exhibit will not only allow for a multi-sensory experience but also provide inspiration for what people can achieve in their own glasshouses and greenhouses.
The Hartley Botanic stand will be situated near the Great Pavilion and the show gardens on Main Avenue. Come and enjoy this multi-sensory experience. If you can't make it, don't worry, you don't have to miss out – visit the Burford store to see our magnificent Chelsea inspired displays.
