Meet Milly and Gabriel, the team behind Weekend Journals
We are delighted to welcome Milly and Gabriel Kenny-Ryder, creators of the 'Weekend Journals' series to our Reading Room on Sunday 1st December.
Providing inspiration for design-conscious travellers, this family-based team have produced a sell-out series of guidebooks, uncovering the most special places to visit and explore in their respective areas. Previously covering Provence, London, Cornwall, and more recently Somerset, the time has come for a brand new arrival documenting Oxfordshire's finest establishments.
With a penchant for discovering true gems of the local area, Milly, Gabriel, and Simon Lovell have explored the finest boutique hotels, prestigious galleries, independent shops and newly opened restaurants to curate a pocket book treasure that is akin to having the most knowledgeable local by your side. With a unique charm and local distinctiveness, the guidebooks provide a beautifully designed and trusted tour, alongside captivating photography and exclusive interviews.
One section and interview particularly caught our eye, as we are delighted to be featured in this Oxfordshire edition, nestled in great company with our local Cotswold neighbours.
The guidebooks themselves are high-quality products, contemporary and minimal in style with a focus on the pictorial element. They are designed to be collected - to keep and display - rather than as functional, throw-away guidebooks.
