We are about delicious, rustic food with a modern twist, cooked well and with a simplicity that brings out all the natural flavours in seasonal ingredients. We have exciting plans for our Café, as we move to table service in 2022!

This role has been created in support of our vision and will report to the Head Chef, deputising and running the kitchen in their absence. We are looking for an engaging and enthusiastic Senior Sous Chef with table service experience in a high volume (approx. 400 cover) fast paced, high quality food establishment. You will have either worked as a Head Chef in a smaller business looking for your next step or as a Senior Sous Chef/deputy.

As Senior Sous Chef you will be an excellent people manager; a natural leader who communicates clearly and confidently with your team. You'll also be a talented chef responsible for driving quality and consistency of the food offering, supporting the Head Chef and working alongside the front of house team to maintain high levels of service. You'll be accustomed to working in an extremely busy environment and will be able to think on your feet.

This is a permanent, full-time contract based on 40 hours a week, 5 days over 7. Working hours are between 8am and 6pm with no evenings or split shifts.
