We are looking for an experienced digital marketing expert, to cover all aspects of our digital marketing. The role is hands-on, writing for and developing our social media channels, delivering a meaningful presence on blog portals and chat platforms, along with creating and managing our email newsletters and growing customer databases.
This is a new, hands-on role for us, and will report directly to the Marketing Manager (see separate advert for that job too). You will need energy with the ability to cover a huge range of topics, to help us deliver high quality, interesting and creative content and post for discerning readers and followers. You will need to be prepared for some very hard, but enjoyable, work.
To be successful you will need to demonstrate proven experience and ability in developing an independent brand's potential through digital channels, in an intelligent and considered way, with long-term vision and a knack for lateral thinking. You will need to demonstrate how you have developed these channels successfully in a professional environment, and how you have done that in a meaningful way, You must have had experience and oversight of writing social media posts and developing organic followers. You will need to have a good eye for an image and be adept with editing instant photography. You will undertsand email marketing and know how to maintain and develop databases and lists.You will need to know your analytics too, and be up to date with current optimisation technqiues.We are a creative, family business, not a corporate one, a high-quality, ethical, independent company with a heart and lots of soul.
