We have a fantastic opportunity for a proven, generalist HR Specialist to join our successful organisation. This is very much a hands-on role which covers all aspects of HR – from recruitment and employee relations to budget management, training and development and HR administration.

Recruitment and helping people to reach their potential is a big part of the role, so you will need to be experienced in all aspects of resourcing from drafting job adverts through to interviewing, induction training and beyond. You will need to be adept in recognising talent in individuals and finding the absolute best in people who will help contribute to our future success. You will also need to have experience in dealing with employee relations and the confidence to take responsibility for any employee matters which arise. Exceptional customer service and communication skills are also essential.

We prefer candidates who are CIPD qualified, or who are well on their way to being qualified. Applicants should be numerate and with excellent written English skills. Experience in managing payroll and associated systems would also be beneficial as we envisage this fall under the HR Specilist's remit. All candidates must be prepared to work some weekends, as required. The role is full time, but for the exceptionally productive, we can look at a 4-day week too.
