Glazed in an eye-catching copper shade, the Gluggle Jug’s charming name is an ode to these fish shaped vessels making a pleasing ‘gluggle’ sound when poured. Impressively versatile, this unique piece can be used as a water jug, utensil jar, or ornament, and is guaranteed to transform any space with its eccentricity and vibrancy.

Originally made by Thomas Forester & Son in Staffordshire in the late 1870s, these Gluggle Jugs are beautifully hand crafted in Stoke-On-Trent. A special pair of jugs were made in 1958 for presentation to the Queen and Prince Philip on their visit to Britannia Naval College; the jugs were 9” tall, glazed green and embossed with the Royal insignia and the date.
