notes

G. Rozanne is an incredibly popular hardy cranesbill that is easy to grow and produces a profusion of violet, saucer-shaped flowers with white centres, amid lush slightly marbled, deep green foliage. Ideal for filling gaps in the border, it looks particularly good beneath roses.

Insights

Winner of the coveted Plant of the Centenary. To celebrate 100 years of the Chelsea Flower Show in 2013, the Royal Horticultural Society picked a plant from each decade and asked the public to vote for their favourite. The overall winner was this beautiful, frost-hardy herbaceous Geranium Rozanne (also known as Geranium Gerwat).
