Traditional Japanese lopping shears with big, strong forged blades and stout handles in white oak. No messing about with squidgy shock absorbers – the oak handles take care of that – or adjustable, ratchet jiggery pokery, just the very pleasing action (and seductive sound of meaning business) of properly forged carbon steel at work.
Suitable for branches up to 2.5cm (1"), although as some species are harder than others this is only a guide, and common sense should tell you when to stop. Cut larger branches at a 45 degree angle.
