These lightweight, stylish eco pots have been made with sustainability in mind right from the start. They are perfect for in the house or the garden. Made from recycled plastic from PET bottles, these pots have a natural look, a unique finish and an architectural silhouette.
Although the Antwerp planter looks like traditional terracotta pottery or its fibreclay counterpart, it certainly doesn't weigh the same. This lightweight pot is easier to move round the garden or into your house than a typical terracotta pot. Shock- and shatter-proof, it is also resistant against UV light and frost.
The Antwerp planter was inspired by the renowned 'bolleke', which is the rounded glass bottle used for the De Koninck Belgian beer brewed in Antwerp. Another interesting fact is that it takes up to 20 recycled 1.5 litre PET bottles to make one 30cm Antwerp Planter.
Plant up a pair of these for either side of a doorway or gateway, or have several in a row along the terrace or by the pool for dramatic effect. Even better, group a selection of different sizes together for a dramatic cluster effect.
Available in four colours: Grey, Black, Terracotta or White
If you are using your pot indoors, we would recommend you pair it with the Amsterdam Saucer. This, larger sizes of the Antwerp Planter and other items from the Eco Pot range are available in store.
