The delights of crab apple trees include lovely blossom as well as those tart fruits that decorate the tree well into winter and are so good in jam making due to their high pectin.
This Flowering Crab Apple, Malus Comtessa de Paris, has delicate, white blossom with mid-green foliage. In the autumn there is an abundance of slightly pointed, glossy lemon yellow fruit. The tree itself is small and densely branching and has good disease resistance.
A recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence in the garden.
