Perhaps the best known variety of plum, the Victoria Plum is a reliably heavy cropping stone fruit bushthat produces clusters of delicate white blossoms in late spring, followed by delicious yellow-tinged purple-red, egg-shaped dessert plums in late summer. For many, a plum isn't a plum unless it's a Victoria.
In fact, it is ideal for both culinary and dessert use – Victorias make lovely pies and jams, if they get that far, as they are probably best enjoyed straight from the tree! Self-fertile, so you don't need to plant a companion tree.
Grown on VVA1, a semi-dwarfing rootstock, ideal for a smaller garden.
