Viburnum tinus Eve Price is a popular form of laurustinus, denser and more compact than others. This viburnum is a bushy, medium-sized evergreen shrub with broad, oval, leathery dark green leaves. From late winter into spring it sports flattened clusters of starry pinkish-white flowers, opening from carmine-pink buds. These are followed by small, metallic looking blue-black berries.
Thriving in sun or shade, the foliage provides an excellent evergreen backdrop for ornamental and feature plants. It is also a popular hedging plant.
A recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence in the garden.
