Anemone Ruffled Swan has delightfully ripple-edged, semi-double flowers, the petals of which, surrounding a golden eye, are pure white on the front with a purple- striations on the reverse. Opening and closing in response to sunlight, these pretty flowers appear hazy purple in the early morning and evening and pure white during the day.
A lovely herbaceous perennial, ideal for a woodland area or in dappled shade in the garden, the flowers, raised on stems growing out of clumps of attractively incised leaves, nod in the breeze explaining their common name: Windflower.
