Cistus x obtusifolius Thrive, also known as the Rock or Sun Rose, is a compact, evergreen shrub that thrives in dry, poor soil. It bears a profusion of small, five-petalled flowers with yellow centres, rather like those of the wild rose. Although esch flower only lasts for a day, the plant blooms over a long period. The dark green leaves are small, narrow and glossy.

Tolerant of drought and coastal conditions, it will thrive where many other plants falter. A fantastic shrub for a Mediterranean style planting scheme.
