Formerly known as montbretia, this crocosmia is a cheerful variety producing masses of vivid yellow freesia-like blooms, held in a line on tall, arching stems in late summer and autumn. Ideal as part of a 'hot' garden planting scheme, or as a cut flower. An excellent choice for sunny, well-drained sites and ideally situated at the back of a border or where it can overhang a lawn or path.
Named after the head gardener at Westwick Hall, who was an early crocosmia enthusiast, this lovely late flowering corm will quickly divide and form a large clump of sword-like leaves. A herbaceous bulbous perennial that disappears in the winter and reappears every spring.
