Dahlia Bishop of York is a statement dahlia that features glowing single amber-gold flowers with a yellow ringed eye, set off by the shapely deep bronze-red, deeply divided, foliage. Dahlias are tuberous perennials, traditionally lifted over the winter to protect them from frost.
This is a plant that can stand on its own, in a pot or in a prominent position in the middle of the border, where it will set off other plants, especially shrubs with copper or purple foliage. Extend the season with this dahlia, as it will flower prolifically from midsummer until the first frosts. Ideal for cutting.
