Delphinium Astolat produces tall spires of lovely deep lavender-pink flowers with a dark centre (or 'bee') in early summer, above a low mound of delicate, deeply lobed green leaves. One of the Pacific Series, this herbaceious perennial has been bred to withstand high summer temperatures. Plant at the back of a cottage garden border to add height and interest. Will repeat flower if the first heads are removed before seeding.
