Erigeron karvinskianus Stallone is a vigorous, trailing perennial from Central America that produces a dense profusion of cheery, daisy-like flowers throughout the summer and beyond. Great in hanging baskets, troughs or sunny rock gardens, or use it to soften walling, steps and paths – it will soon self seed freely.
Throughout the warm growing season, Erigeron Stallone is covered with a profusion of yellow-centered daisies that open white, eventually ageing to pink and, finally, lavender. The flowers are carried singly or in small branched clusters on short stems, and are highly attractive to butterflies, bees and other pollinating insects. It forms a low, spreading carpet of narrowly oval, fuzzy, silvery-green foliage.
A recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence in the garden.
