The name of this Geum – Pink Petticoats - hints at the nature of the beautiful flowers it bears. Large, semi-double blooms are produced in profusion from April right the way through to September. The pink petals, washed with orange, are delicately ruffled and contrast with distinctive yellow centres.
This hardy perennial plant is versatile and perfect for the margins of borders, in raised beds, or even in containers. Clump-forming, the Geum will survive the winter, especially if protected from the frost. Position in full sun or partial shade in moist, free-draining soil. Dead-head to extend the flowering season.
