Tiarella Spring Symphony is a rhizomatous herbaceous perennial with short, upright racemes of almost fluffy stars of creamy-white flowers in spring, which open from tight cones of pink buds. The flowers are held above palmate, deeply lobed leaves of a soft green, with rusty red or purple tinged marks to the mid-ribs.
This is a beautiful, clump-forming plant, especially when planted en masse, and will provide useful ground cover under deciduous shrubs, such as roses, and trees. Equally lovely in light shade in a border or wooded area.
