Moroccan Mint (Mentha spicata var. crispa Moroccan) is a versatile and popular choice. Not only is it delicious in drinks (especially mojitos!), but it's perfect for making fresh mint tea and for flavouring peas, new potatoes or meat.

This fast-growing, hardy perennial herb is naturally more resistant to rust. As it is vigorous, and has spreading underground shoots, this mint will need containing, so it is best plant in a pot or paved sections. Loving a sunny spot, it likes any moist humus-rich soil.
