This deciduous shrub, also known as Mock Orange Blossom, is hugely popular for good reasons because, while the flowers of Philadelphus Belle Etoile look exotically beautiful and smell even better, the plant thrives in the English climate. The four white petals of each flower are flushed with maroon at the base, encircling a charming golden eye.
A recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence in the garden.
