This unusual perennial geranium has dark purple leaves, constrasting with the clear white flowers with light purple veining that bloom right through the summer months. The deeply cut leaves look fantastic next to green foliage, and this drought-resistant hardy perennial forms a low dense mound so is great to use as ground cover, or let it scramble through other plants. Also lovely in a container.
Like all hardy geraniums, G. Purple Ghost is a low maintenance plant. The lovely flowers are attractive to bees and butterflies.
