Lavandula stoechas Papillon (also known as Lavandula pedunculata) is a fragrant French lavender that produces delicate mauve flower heads, each topped with upright petals resembling butterfly wings or ears. The narrow greyish leaves are evergreen. It is a very pretty plant and is extremely attractive to pollinating insects.
