Rosa Albrighton Rambler (Ausmobile) is a ravishing, repeat-flowering rose with small, cup-shaped, double flowers hanging in graceful sprays. Opening as blush pink, the blooms mature to blush white, revealing a charming button eye. Perfect for rambling up walls or fences, it is particularly charming growing through arches or pergolas due to lovely foliage and the light musk scent of the blooms as you pass through.
The Albrighton Rambler is particularly valued because it is unusual to have a rambling rose with double flowers. Also unusual is the name, which calls to mind a charming local steam engine. In reality it refers to the closest village to the famous David Austin Nursery, where the rose was developed, in the rolling Shropshire countryside.
