Bred by David Austen, this remarkable rose has unfailingly brought warmth and brightness into gardens for over a quarter of a century. The blooms produced by Rosa Golden Celebration (Ausgold) are amongst the largest of their type, the giant cup-shaped flowers providing an explosion of sunny colour. In addition, from a nicely rounded shrub, the blooms are carried particularly gracefully on arched branches above the mid-green, glossy foliage.

As well as visual beauty, R. Golden Celebration is renowned for its evocative scent, which starts as a strong tea fragrance and matures into what is described as a combination of Sauternes and strawberry notes.

Plant this rose to mark fifty years of something important to you; alternatively, place it in a mixed border or even in a large container simply to bring its enduring beauty – it repeat flowers – into your garden.

Very healthy and reliable, this repeat flowering rose is a recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence in the garden.
