Rosa Mortimer Sackler (Ausorts) is a graceful climbing rose, bearing large sprays of loosely double, soft pink flowers. It has a lovely, sweet Old Rose fragrance with delicious hints of fruit. Exceptionally healthy, repeat flowers well, attracts bees, and is also thornless, so is a great choice when you are looking for a climbing rose to clothe a fence or a wall.
An English Musk Hybrid rose from Davd Austin Roses, Rosa Mortimer Sackler® is a recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence in the garden.
Roses are often given as presents, in this case the name of the rose was in itself a gift from Mortimer Sackler's wife, when it was auctioned by David Austin for The National Trust.
