Rosa Princess Anne (Auskitchen), named after HRH the Princess Royal, is a particularly healthy rose that is ideal for shady or sunny borders. It forms a marvellous hedge when aligned with others and flourishes in a large container. Its bushy, upright form comprises gloriously shiny foliage which almost looks as if it has been polished. This creates a good foil for the blooms themselves which flower in succession, opening almost red and maturing a rich pink. The petals, being unusually narrow, are packed in tightly, almost like the flowering head of a paeony.
Dramatic and beautiful, this is a statement rose bringing drama to even partially shady areas.
