Box is a large, slow-growing evergreen shrub with glossy, dark green leaves up to 3cm long. Compact in habit, it is a traditional stalwart in gardens, and an essential component of a topiary display. The tiny yellow flowers appear in the leaf axils in spring.
Clipped box looks fantastic grouped together or in serried ranks along a path or terrace. These tightly clipped balls look perfect in pairs, flanking a doorway, path or flight of outdoor steps. Keep in a pot or plant directly in the ground. Particularly useful for adding structure to an informal garden or parterre, and for creating winter interest.
Clipped into a ball.
Available in several sizes of approximate plant diameters, with the larger ones and other shapes only available for instore collection or local delivery. Do give us a call on 01993 823117 before visiting to check we have it in stock for you.
