Winner of the coveted Plant of the Centenary: To celebrate 100 years of the Chelsea Flower Show in 2013, the Royal Horticultural Society picked a plant from each decade and asked the public to vote for their favourite. The overall winner was this beautiful, frost-hardy herbaceous Geranium Rozanne (also known as Geranium Gerwat).
Geranium Rozanne is a versatile hardy cranesbill that is easy to grow and produces a profusion of violet, saucer-shaped flowers with white centres, amid lush slightly marbled, deep green foliage. Ideal for filling gaps in the border, it looks particularly good beneath roses.
