Magnolias are among the first ornamentals to burst into bloom, with dramatic waxy flowers on bare stems.
Magnolia Susan is a bushy, deciduous shrub with an upright habit and mid-green, shiny leaves. From the large purple buds emerge beautiful burgundy, goblet-shaped flowers with slightly twisted petals that are a lighter pink on the inside and have a lovely fragrance. Also suitable for growing in a container.
