Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum Mariesii Great Star is a superb large, deciduous shrub, producing masses of snowball-shaped clusters of small, very fragrant creamy white blooms in spring, followed by small red fruit in the autumn.
This viburnum has a horizontal, layered habit, giving it a tiered look, and it is extremely pretty when it is in flower. The red autumn foliage is also spectacular, so Great Star will make a good all-round specimen or border plant for your garden.
