This special double oriental lily really packs a punch with its petal power! With more than 20 petals each, the blooms of Lilium Roselily Carolina have a lovely subtle sweet scent and the advantage of being pollen free, so are perfect for cutting for the house without the risk of staining clothes or furnishings. Pure white, with a green-tinged centre, they are also long lasting.
A tall and vigorous bulbous perennial with narrow glossy green leaves and huge, fragrant, trumpet-shaped white flowers. The stocky stems and upright habit help it to withstand both the weather and the vase.
Hailing from south west China, the lily has been a garden staple for centuries now. With a subtle fragrance, upward-facing blooms and splendid height, L. Roselily Carolina is a welcome new variety. Preferring acidic or ericaceous soli, it dislikes heavy ground, so add grit if necessary.
