Agapanthus Flower of Love is a new variety that has been bred to produce its marvellously deep blue flowers for over six weeks. Originally from South Africa, agapanthus have become a beloved staple of the cottage garden, filling a sunny border with vibrant colour or bursting joyfully out of terracotta tubs (they are curious in liking to be quite tightly packed together).

The deciduous foliage creates a mound of strap-like leaves in a sunny border, the flowers adding a striking colour from high summer onwards and, if you have the heart to cut them down, presenting dramatic flowers for indoor arrangements.
