Philadelphus Snowbelle is a more recent Canadian cultivar of the classic Mock Orange Blossom, so beloved of British gardeners. A compact, deciduous shrub of neat, textured, dark green leaves, it produces a snowstorm of flowers in early summer. These double flowers are pristine and emit a glorious, citrus fragrance.
While exotic looking, P. Snowbelle likes the British climate and is fully hardy. For the best result, plant in a border or a large container near a seating area or the house itself, so that the remarkable scent is appreciated by humans as well as the bees and butterflies that it attracts to the garden.
