Helleborus Picotee is a beautiful variety of the Christmas Rose, producing saucer-shaped, slightly frilly blooms from late winter right through to March. The exquisitely marked flowers with superb eyes are pendant on strong stems above distinctive semi-evergreen foliage.
Perfect for adding colour to a woodland area, especially as they are resistant to deer and rabbits, or for adding early interest to the front of a mixed border, these long-flowering hellebores bloom at a time of the year when little else is. They also provide a valuable source of nectar to foraging insects, especially bees, when little else is in flower. With a compact, upright, clump-forming habit, the Picotee Harvington hellebore provides good ground cover too.
