Our handmade Burford marmalades have many loyal supporters and this classic Seville Orange Marmalade is a case in point. It is made from the famously bitter oranges (citrus aurantium) that originated in Southeast Asia and were exported to Seville as early as the 12th Century. Since then, Seville oranges have been highly valued for a flavour that once cooked is incomparable.
Historically this jar of tart deliciousness has earnt its position on the breakfast table and makes a lovely gift.
