Inspired by island living, this premium coconut and grapefruit gin is made using botanicals such as juniper, grapefruit, coconut, ginger, tarragon and orris, combining ingredients and imagination to break all the conventions of flavour.
The Hoxton Gin is lovingly curated by East London drinks maverick Gerry Calabrese, using the finest, ethically sourced natural ingredients to give a unique drinking experience. The mix is macerated for five days before a single distillation in 150-year-old copper pot stills before being blended with the grain spirit. The ABV is then reduced to 40%, before the Hoxton Gin is filtered and rested in steel tanks for two months. The result is contemporary and exotic, uniquely smooth and rounded.
Serve chilled from the freezer or over ice with a slice – unusually, you can drink it on its own – or in a cocktail; try a traditional G&T, perhaps with a splash of grapefruit juice, or pair with ginger ale instead of tonic.
