Fornasetti candles are famous for their brilliant designs - complete mixes of humour, allusions and metaphors are combined together to create a colourful and dreamlike visual. Each candle is unique and becomes it's own character due to the variation in design.
The Astonomical design was part of a collection in the 1950's that was designed to be a distinctive yet playful re-imaging of the zodiac. Featuring suns, zodiac signs, stars and moons, this iconic imagery shines bright and is hand-painted in gold and silver against an ivory background. As part of the Otto range, this wonderfully warm, smoky and sophisticated scent combines wild and aromatic Mediterranean herbs once grown throughout the grounds of the Fornasetti family home in Milan, together with the distinctive scent of sun-warmed Orris, Cedarwood and Birch.
