Fornasetti candles are famous for their brilliant designs - complete mixes of humour, allusions and metaphors are combined together to create a colourful and dreamlike visual. Each candle is unique and becomes it's own character due to the variation in design.
The Bacio candle is certainly one of the most iconic candles created by the brand. As the candles' muse, Lina Cavalieri was an artist known for being 'the most beautiful woman in the world' during the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Due to her classic beauty, she became the subject of the iconic series "Tema e Variazioni" (Theme and Variations) of which there are nearly 400 adaptions. Her lips have been designed into a wonderfully like red motif by Barnaba Fornasetti to be the main feature of this candle's design. As part of the Otto range, this wonderfully warm, smoky and sophisticated scent combines wild and aromatic Mediterranean herbs once grown throughout the grounds of the Fornasetti family home in Milan, together with the distinctive scent of sun-warmed Orris, Cedarwood and Birch.
