This stunning wicker sofa is a recreation of one first designed in 1951 by Franco Albini, who broke new ground when he played with experimental shapes to create sculptural and timeless icons. The Belladonna sofa quickly became a mid-century favourite and continues in its popularity today. Aptly named, the openwork back and sides seem to unfurl, like a belladonna lily.

The sofa has a very elegant expression with its fine open weave and the beautifully curved back. The construction gives the impression that the seat sits on a pedestal, which gives Belladonna an almost majestic aura. Belladonna is a decorative element that will suit almost any type of interior décor.

The petite sofa is handcrafted and the skin-on natural rattan it is made with is sourced from Indonesian forests that are farmed to regenerate within 5 to 7 years.

An upholstered seat cushion in a dark grey is included.
