This substantial dining table is one of a kind made from solid elm. Four long slabs of thick elm, smooth planed but with a wonderfully tactile waney-edge, form the table top. Added features to the beautiful surface are small splits joined with butterfly joints and natural holes filled with clear wax. Seating at least ten comfortably, it sits on an angled trestle base that maximises footspace, and has a gloriously arched central runner.
Handcrafted in Oxfordshire with love and attention to detail, from a fallen tree, this is a splendid piece of solid oak furniture that will be an heirloom of the future.
An heirloom piece you'll want to use every day. It is comfortable to sit at, with an inclined edge you can lean into. A table for family gatherings for every occasion.
