Meet our Danish royal castle pot, dressed in Petroleum Blue. Glazed the old-fashioned way, individually by hand, by potters near Lucca in Tuscany, these quality pots are made to last for generations to come. The saturated, intense colours are inspired by the lively shades of the idyllic Danish fishing village of Dragør: the luscious green of the shiny castle gates, the deep blue of the endless sea and the glowing amber of the ornate village houses. These centuries-old royal colours are beautiful individually, and together are pure perfection.
Featuring a distinctive lip and decorated rim, each Copenhagen pot has been fired at a high temperature, giving it a natural strength and durability. The high density of the clay also makes the pots frost resistant. Drainage holes in the base allow for outdoor use; for indoor use, select the matching Copenhagen Glazed Petroleum Blue Pots with Saucers (we do still recommend you protect the surfaces beneath any pot).
With durable, hand-dipped glazing, timeless colour and exclusive finish, the Copenhagen pot is a piece of art in any home, setting your plants off to perfection.
