Japanese steel blades have a reputation for brilliance, the hardness of their steel is renowned. These Japanese Kitchen Scissors fulfil this promise. Made from high quality stainless steel they are aesthetically pleasing, comfortable to use and dishwasher safe.
Satisfyingly designed, the steel of each of the blades is extended and twisted to form the inside of the handles. The keen blades, one of which is serrated, open to a useful 110º. Extend the scissors fully, press the central button and you can separate the two blades for cleaning.
For culinary purposes, these scissors make cutting easier and less damaging to the cellular structure of the food.

Care: Avoid cutting bones, frozen food, wire, metal, or cardboard and rubber which will affect the blades. The scissors can be taken apart by opening the blades as far as possible (110º), depressing the central button and lifting apart. This allows for deep cleaning. Dishwasher safe.
Sharpening: The blades of the scissors should not lose their edge quickly, but the non-serrated blade of the scissors can be sharpened if necessary, using a medium grit (1000 - 2000) whetsone.
