These marbled tumblers are a contemporary twist on classic enamelware. Each piece is individually handmade by master artisans in Istanbul.
Made by fusing glass onto heavy-gauge steel, they are machine mulled or hand-formed, glazed and then fired at high temperature in a traditional kiln. Depending on where the tumbler is placed in the kiln, the position impacts its colour intensity. The traditional marbling technique - a combination of the artisan's hand and chance - emerged in Anatolia and dates back to the 15th century.
In three fresh and exciting colours to choose from, you can create a great summer table setting indoors, or take out for a stylish picnic and use as characterful cups for a delicious drink or mini-dessert. They also works well if they are mixed and matched. Alternatively, display a posy of wild flowers, or use as a pen pot.
A colourful nostalgic range which will look divine wherever you place it or however you choose to use it.
If looked after, this timeless classic enamelware can last a lifetime.
