Sedum Autumn Joy (also known as Sedum Herbstfreude), is an upright form of Stone Crop, with lettuce-green, succulent leaves, and wide clusters of tiny salmon-pink blooms from late summer. The flowers, which mature to pinkish-bronze then coppery-red in autumn, are highly attractive to insects, including butterflies, and provide a late-season nectar source.
Autumn Joy is the perfect addition to the front of a well-drained, sunny border or rockery, and if you leave the flowerheads on they will provide great winter interest. It will benefit from some support.
