Back in stock late 2019

At Burford we stock the best lavender plants, all backed by our 10 year hardy plants guarantee. But being Burford, we thought we’d improve on perfection, so we have developed our very own, exclusive variety… a limited quantity of Burford Blue Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia Burford Blue) is available now.

Plant in a sunny spot for a sense-thrilling display of iridescent violet-blue flower spikes from early next summer. The fabulously fragrant, sweet scent will pull in bees and butterflies, and perfume your garden all summer long. The beautiful flowers are on tall stalks and will make an impact when cut for the house as well.

An English lavender, it is bred from Lavandula angustifolia Folgate (the variety grown to produce lavender oil), and is a compact variety with fresh, silvery green foliage and a slightly spreading habit.
