An outstanding English shrub rose from David Austin, Rosa Carolyn Knight (Austurner), has an adundance of cup-shaped blooms of soft gold, with shades of apricot and  orange. The bonus is a particularly delicious, strong scent of warm, sweet honey. The fully double flowers open from apricot buds flushed with pink, and last from early summer right through to the first frosts.

Named after a designer who worked alongside David Austin in the early years, R. Carolyn Knight is a tall, repeat flowering English Leander Hybrid. With dark green, toothed foliage, it has a bushy habit, with vigorous, upright and almost thornless growth.

A lovely rose for the back of a cottage garden border, or grow in a container so you can appreciate the honeyed fragrance.
