Sophisticated and versatile, the attractive Areca palm adds a tropical touch to any interior space. Displaying similar leaflets to the kentia palm, a feathered structure with lush foliage upon erect stems, its requirements are low maintenance, making it a good choice for any keen plant lover with a beginner’s knowledge.

The shape and texture of the Areca palm takes on many guises. Known as the ‘golden cane palm’ for its close resemblance to bamboo stems, it is also referred to as the ‘butterfly palm’ for its curvaceous, magnificent leaf formations.
