Just pop the bar in a container with some water and leave it on a sunny windowsill where it will expand. Within eight weeks you’ll have seedlings to plant out into the garden or pots.


The Thai Chef’s Growbar is packed with seeds for a trio of distinctively flavoured herbs and spices that form the building blocks of many Thai dishes. Lemongrass has a subtle, sweet lemon flavour, and is ideal for using whole or finely chopped in fragrant pastes. Feisty Bird’s-eye chillies bring their fiery heat and fruity taste to curries, salads and noodle dishes and Thai Basil adds a spiced liquorice-like flavour to classic green and red curries.
